What we do - designing, manufacturing and delivering your packaging

It might seem an unusual way to start a marketing blog by writing what we do and, as importantly, what we don't do.

Every business has their specialism and we would prefer to be known for doing our customers' jobs really well rather than trying to cover every base in the packaging industry.

Our Zund difgital cutting machinery is exclusively specified to be efficient at running short-run production volumes of no more than 1000 units at a time. Beyond that, we cannot compete with larger plants who prefer to manufacture thousands in any production run. Please check out Zund's website for more information on their machinery.

The flip side is that all production here is run purely from a computer design with no need to make diecut tooling that can often cost hundreds of pounds. Most of our customers' jobs are completed and dispatched before diecut tools would be made and received.

We specialise in smaller postal and packaging boxes from white, brown and fully dyed black corrugated in many FEFCO design codes. These are industry standards to describe how a box is cut and assembled with cuts and creases. Please see this link for more information and inspiration for your next project.

Our stock range  of board is:

  1. 1.5mm E flute fully dyed black corrugated at 960 ✕ 2500mm
  2. 2.5mm 200gsm R flute Kraft brown and white corrugated at 1000 ✕ 1200mm and 1250 ✕ 2500mm
  3. 3mm 200gsm brown Kraft EE flute at 920 ✕ 2210mm.

All these grades can be made into any custom sized FEFCO box design as long as it fits these maximums. Please email us for questions or a quote.

We also have access to a wide range of other fully dyed coloured corrugated boards and will soon have a resupply of a popular Forest Green 1.5mm E flute once the paper has been made in Cumbria.

Lastly, we aren't competitive on lightweight doublewall BC flute in FEFCO 0201 design,  so we are happy to leave this work to much larger manufacturers. Our stock grades are all high quality 200gsm corrugated. 125gsm + 150gsm boards cannot run efficiently on our machinery so we are not able to quote those grades.
